Hump Day is here. Thankfully the week is half over.
I just sent something in the mail that broke my heart. One of my old school mates/friends, Joe, was diagnosed with cancer almost 2 years ago and he isn’t winning that battle. It is so hard to say but Joe is going to die. He is ready to die. He stated he is ready to head to heaven. The rest of us have to pray that this prayer will be granted soon and peacefully. He is so tired that they do not want any visitors so I decided a card would be good. At first I didn’t know what to say but the first thing that came out was “Thank you for being you!” I think this is a statement that we should all remember. Even when you have fights with friends/family, have a bad day at work, get sick, feel bad about yourself, ect we need to be thankful for who we are and who we hold close to our hearts.
So to all of my friends and family – THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!
To any of you reading this entry please say a quick prayer for Joe and ask God to let him go to Heaven with peace and through rest so he can be away from the pain he suffers every day. Also pray for strength for his wife Susan and son Jacob.
Not sure what else to say this morning. Have a good day friends.
THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!
