Changes...

Being that the bean is a Boy, I decided that the purple blog had to go. Blue, green and brown it is. Hope everyone likes the new look.

Well it has been 4 days since we found out what the bean is. It just brings a smile to my face every time I think about the news we heard on Friday. A Boy! :O) It is an interesting feeling to go from knowing you are pregnant and that there is a baby inside you but now to know that it is a baby boy wow! – brings a whole different feeling over me. A wonderful feeling.

Jeremy’s family will be in town on Thursday for the weekend. We have a busy weekend planned but it will be great to have some family time and get to play with our 2 year old niece. It has been over a year since we have seen his sister and her family.

I started looking at a registry list, basically a guide for what you should register for, and wow talk about a little overwhelming. I know once we get to the store to do the register it will be more fun than work but right now it seems like a daunting task. Yikes. We will tackle that project and the nursery project after we get home from Arizona on March 8th.

And the list continues to grow….

It's a....

BOY!
A healthy baby Boy.

The little man is measuring 2 days earlier than my EDD so we are right on schedule. Our ultra-sound tech was great. She showed us so much and took so many pictures. We already have a scrapbook for this little guy.

Book Report

As I am writing this entry I am just so eager to continue reading this book. Of course, I can’t read at work so that is a bummer. I decided to buy this book after the many raves I heard. I needed a laugh, an easy read and something fun so while I was out this weekend I picked it up.

Photobucket

I am only about half-way through it at this point but I am already confident that this is a must read for any woman who is pregnant, wants to be pregnant, has been pregnant or even those women who have only seen their family and friends be pregnant.

Jenny McCarthy is so funny, so brutal and so truthful. It is a great way to remember why pregnancy is for women only…those boys couldn’t handle this shit!

So ladies, pick this book. It is only 12 bucks and so worth it.

Happy reading!

Hello in there!?!?

Was that it?
I *think* I felt the baby move. I *think* I am hoping I feel the little bump I just did again soon so I can actually say I felt it! :O) Maybe it’s just gas. LOL

Happy Friday!
Today I am just trying to get through the day. Ready to be at home and relaxing this weekend. We really do not have any plans which I am totally excited for! Possibly working on the nursery and getting things moved out of there and to their new spots. We will see.

2 weeks until the big U/S! I can’t wait.

We are also counting down the days until we get to go away for a weekend. We will be going to the Bed and Breakfast we adore over Valentine’s Day weekend. Should be a really relaxing and romantic weekend for us both. Love it!

Well that is all I have today. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Cravings...yes please

Two blogs in one day?

Pickles and Ice Cream (gross) – yeah that combo has never crossed my mind in the 18 weeks I have been in this pregnancy journey. I will, however, agree that I have had some cravings per say.

Photobucket

Craving #1 – Chocolate Milk. At least I am getting some calcium. Milk does a body good you know! But I am picky. I only like the 1% chocolate milk and the only place we have found that you can buy that is at Target. So worth the extra drive.

Photobucket

Craving #2 – Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches! Love them. There is a pub down the street from work that has the best one. I could go there for lunch every day, but I hold off. And if I can’t go to the pub, Quizno’s works well too. Their toasted ham and Swiss tides me over. Yum-o!
Photobucket

Craving #3 – McDonald’s Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Probably the worst place to get a craving from because you can’t just get the sandwich, you have to have the fries and pop too. But it is probably better than a Big Mac – or at least in my mind it is! I am not a fan of mayo normally but the mayo on this sandwich makes it that much better! Yum Yum Yum!
Photobucket

My poor husband has gained more weight than I have so far. Ooops! My cravings are making his pants tight! Lol It’s okay – he loves me!

That is my story on cravings – I am sure more will come around but right now thinking about any of these 3 items make my tummy growl!

When is lunch?

It's a Sweet Potato! Seriously!

How far along? 18 weeks

Weight gain/loss? Still -1 today. But I feel like I have gained a ton in my hips.

Maternity clothes? Yes, the Old Navy jeans didn’t work out but I caved and bought jeans from Motherhood Maternity. They were a little more expensive but I love them! So comfortable. Wearing maternity jeans and shirts now every day.

Stretchies? Nothing new this week.

Sleep? Waking up a lot but able to get back to sleep pretty quickly.

Best moment this week? Buying new clothes.

WORST MOMENT THIS WEEK: Feeling sick on Sunday night. The Nausea came back for a couple hours and then went away.

Movement? I think I felt something…not sure though.

Food cravings? Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches, and Chocolate Milk – YES PLEASE!

Gender? Still thinking boy. Finding out on Feb 19th!!!

Labor signs? none.

Belly button in or out? in

What I miss? Clear skin…I just keep breaking out.

What I am looking forward to? February 19th! Can’t come soon enough!

Weekly wisdom? Find a new skin care routine, I ordered some new face wash, I can’t wait to start using it. I really hope it works.

Milestones? I guess Maternity clothes! 2 weeks until Half-baked! YAY!
