1 year!
It has been 365 days since my Grandpa Mumby passed away.

I miss him greatly, especially now that the due date comes closer and closer. I know he would be thrilled with the thought of a little great grandson. I intend to inform my son all about his great grandfather. Pictures and stories will have to do but I know that my Grandpa will always be with us.

So today is kind of hard, I woke up this morning with a weird feeling in my stomach, I am sure it is just grief showing its nasty head again. With the beautiful spring weather (78 degrees and sunny) I look forward to moving past this year marker with strength and anticipation for what is coming in the next 365 days.

We love you Grandpa and miss you something terrible. Only 99 days until your Great Grandson’s due date. I know you are smiling.

100 days left until the due date!

Yes you read that right, 100 days until 7/7/2010! Amazing. Tomorrow I will be in the double digits of the countdown and the days will just continue to tick away.

On top of the excitement of getting to 100 days left, today is also the day that our furniture is being delivered. Should be in the house within an hour!
Jeremy stayed home this morning to be there for the delivery. I cannot wait to get home and see it!

I know that once the furniture is in the room, this whole nursery thing will feel so much more “real”! I really can’t wait to start getting things put in their place and finish with the decorations in the nursery. Maybe by Easter day we will have it done so the whole family can see the progress we have made. Could be a busy week. We will see.

Pictures to come…

Alien Baby begins...

“Oh my gosh he is all over the place!”
This is what Jeremy said last night with big eyes and a huge smile. It was so funny to lay there and have him not only feel our little man kick but then be able to see him kicking as my tummy moved! Jeremy was getting mad at me for laughing because it was interfering with his entertainment.
I know he will just continue to get harder and stronger kicks so this will get even more entertaining for us both!

More to come!

So sleepy...work needs to be done!!!

I decided I should write an entry today in hopes that it would keep me awake at my desk. I know I have said this before but this time change is really messing with me.

Jeremy and I have this plan to go home, get dinner cooking, tape the chair rail and trim, eat and then head to the gym but from the looks of it I might be taking a nap instead of going to the gym!

Speaking of the gym, we have been bad – REALLY bad – about going since I got pregnant. But we talked about it and decided that we both need to get back to getting more exercise because it is good for us and because on every 15th of the month $43 is coming out of our account to pay for the gym! LOL Well in saying that I know we should go tonight so maybe once I get outside and away from my desk I will have more energy to hit the treadmill! Wish me luck!

Yesterday was my 24 week appointment – tomorrow I will be 24 weeks.
The appointment went well, same as the other check-ins. Seems like we sit in the waiting room longer than the actual appointment takes. I guess that is a good thing. Our little boy is doing well though so that was great news. His heart rate was 156 which is the highest we have heard yet, he was moving all over the place when she was trying to find the heartbeat so I am sure that is why. It is so funny to think about him moving so much! Exciting!

Our next appointment will be on April 15th. That appointment will be longer and a little more involved. I will have to get the rh- shot and do the 1 hour glucose test…again! Let’s hope that everything comes back normal like it did at the 16 week 1 hour glucose test.

Well more tomorrow…picture included – I promise! :O)

6. Buy and install dimmer switch - DONE!!

10. Register at Target - DONE!!
11. Upload pictures to blog! Yes I have belly pictures finally! - DONE!!
12. Order crib - DONE!!
13. PICK A NAME!!! lol

Well as you can we had a busy BABY weekend! :O) I am so excited, and nervous, about all of the things we accomplished and started this weekend. It is beginning to feel so real and so close. I know we are right on schedule with getting everything done but it seems like an awful lot to do in the next 3-4 months.

Jeremy got all of the green and tan painted this weekend and even got one wall done with chair rail. We are hoping to get the rest of the chair rails put up by tonight. After that is done we will need to paint the trim and chair rail white and then we are done painting! Jeremy was a busy guy this weekend but I know he loves doing it! It looks so great! I will add pictures tonight…

Oh registering – wow, that was a work out! LOL We were at Babies R Us from 11-1 doing this project. There are so many decisions to make but we did it. After Babies R Us we headed right to Target to build a smaller one there as well. Let’s just say that my legs, butt and back were killing me by the time we got home. I am so happy we are done with that piece though – it was fun decided what we want to use for our new little one.

I have my 24 week appointment today – I can’t wait to hear that heartbeat again!! I am a little worried about my weight gain the past 4 weeks, we will see what the doctor says. :O) I am pretty sure I have to get the Rh negative shot today, ummm ouch!!! Not looking forward to that.

Happy Monday everyone, I hope the hour time change isn’t messing with you all too bad. All I can say is I’m sleepy!!
