kidecals Review

This is a sponsored post all about Kidecals!

Jude is starting Preschool in 4 months – AHHH – and since we have never had to really label his items because he just goes with my parents every day I never really thought about labels.  Then I saw these great labels from kidecals and just knew we had to get some of these for his belongings.
Kidecals has every design and any type of label you can think of.  Jude is obsessed with Fire Trucks right now so when I saw this one I thought about him.
These labels are bright and fun for any preschooler!  I love them.  I am already thinking about where these labels should go.  His shoes, his backpack, his coats, his folders, and his lunch box.  But one thing that I love is that these labels are so durable that I can even put a label on his soccer ball so it doesn’t get lost at practice!!
I cannot forget Teagan, our Cupcake!  Maybe this design for her when she heads off to school?
Check out what Kidecals offers their customers.
Personalized Kids Name Labels:
Jude has a "different" name - not one that is very popular (I know that feeling!) so it is hard to find personalized items for him.  I love that with these great lables we can make anything HIS!  Kidecals are a must for an child in daycare or school.  Label water bottles, clothing, books, toys, sports gear with their favorite animal or color. kidecals are crazy durable...dishwasher, washing machine AND dryer safe, and they don't damage surfaces. Durability is key when you have kids right?!?!
Waterproof Labels:
Sure you could use a permanent marker on all of your kiddos stuff but that does eventually rub off. Kidecals waterproof name labels are super durable and can stick to just about anything.  Even on clothes that go through the washer and dryer!!!  Do you have pool toys that are special to your kiddo? Put a kidecal on them!  They will STICK!!!
Chalkboard Labels that you can write on:
I love chalkboard anything!  So when I saw these labels I was thrilled!!  Not for my kids but for me!  Think about all the organization you could do in a kitchen with these labels?!?!  Chalkboard labels are the easiest way to get organized fast without having to create new printed labels from scratch.
Luggage Tags:
We travel at least 2 times a year.  Luggage gets lost – yup it happens.  Having tags on your bags are so important!  There are some great Luggage Tags to choose from too.  Love this!!  Also if you put a cute tag on your bag it is MUCH easier to find your bag at baggage claim!!  Easy trick!!  This one is my favorite!!

Discount for you - MY readers!:
My Readers Save 15% off Kidecals the most durable waterproof labels on the market use promo code: awesomelabels at

Disclosure:  This is a sponsored post.  I was compensated with a package of kidecal labels to try.  All of these opinions are my own.

What dad doesn't like cookies?  My dad loves cookies - anything chocolate really.  :O)  So instead of the traditional Tie and Book for Father's Day I decided that a fun bouquet of cookies would really brighten his day.  And MAYBE he will even share those yummy cookies??  ;)
Gourmet Cookie Bouquets has a ton of great cookie gifts to show any Dad how much you love him.  The bouquets are so nicely arranged too.  You can find any theme you need.  I think my favorite is the sports one.
Gourmet Cookie Bouquets has a ton of yummy flavors of cookies.  Just a few of the flavors to be enjoyed are Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip Pecan, M&M, Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Frosted Peanut Butter.  YUM!!  I want to try the Chocolate Chip Pecan!!!
Does your Dad need a sugar free option?  Don’t worry they have those too!!! The sugar free chocolate chip cookies will still allow them to enjoy a sweet fresh-baked treat on their special day.
Good luck and Happy Father's Day!

Wordless{ful} Wednesday: Dinosaur Ridge

Monday was my Dad's birthday and Memorial Day so on this special day we decided to head up to Dinosaur Ridge in Morrison Colorado.
It was a fun morning for everyone.  My dad is a history buff (retired history teacher) so this is something he loves to introduce Jude too.  And Jude is into a Dinosaur phase so really this was perfect!
This is a great place for Toddlers like Jude.  Hands on activities!!

Jude got to dig for Dinosaur Bones!  So exciting!

Teagan, Mommy and Grandma waiting for the bus to go see the big foot prints!!

We found Dinosaur Foot Prints!!!!!  Very cool.  He thought it was neat that he got to climb on the foot prints.

Big Foot - Little Foot!

Me and my kiddos!

HA!!  This picture sums up the day!

If you are ever in Colorado this is a great stopping place if you have children.  The views of Red Rocks are fantastic and the history is great as well.

This was not a sponsored post - simply sharing our great visit to Dinosaur Ridge.

Y3W: Mother of 2

I am late on getting my Mother's Day post up due to a pretty sick Teagan!  She got the stomach bug - bad.  35 hours of not being able to keep any fluids down, after some anti-nausea medicine she is on the mend thankfully.  So scary!!

So here it is.  My Mother's Day celebration with my 2 kiddos and wonderful hubby took place on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend.  We went to breakfast and Cracker Barrel - a tradition now.  And then headed to the Denver Zoo.  We had a great time as a family!  I love being a Mommy of 2!  I am pretty lucky!

Me and my loves.  Rocking away.
Teagan and Mommy!
A Teagan size rocker!  Adorable!  We have a similar picture of Jude too!
Daddy and Jude playing checkers.  I think Jude won.

CardStore.com Review and Giveaway

This is a sponsored post all about Cardstore.com

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Cardstore.com and they offered to let me create 2 cards for Mother's Day.  I decided this was a perfect idea for the 2 Grandmas in our family.  Here are the cards I created just for both of our mother's for Jude and Teagan to give them.

I think the best thing about these personalized cards is that it becomes more than just a card.  It is a picture.  It is something that will be cherished for years to come and it didn't come from the store shelf.
The cards were so easy to create and the choices made it super hard to decide which ones were perfect for Grandma.
Cardstore.com makes it easy.  You can decide to have the cards shipped to you, the creator, OR you can even have it shipped directly to the home of your loved one.  Hello easy!!  I decided to have these shipped to our home just so we could have Jude "sign" them.
I was really surprised that we receieved these cards just 2 days after I created them.  So for even those last minute shoppers this option will work for you!!
The quality of the prints were great.  The pictures turned out perfect and the card design was exactly as shown on the website.  These cards are printed on high quality card stock as well.  Something that you would expect at a store.  Not online!!
I cannot wait to make the Grandpas a couple of cards for Father's Day too!!  I think I found my newest treat for holidays!

Guess what?  The lovely people at Cardstore.com are giving you the opportunity to treat the Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother, or what ever Father you have in your life with the gift of a personalized card for Father's Day!
All you have to do is follow these simple entry rules and you too can get to create some original and special!

Disclosure:  I was not compensated for this review.  I was given 2 codes for 2 free cards.  These are my opinions and they are not swayed by any gifts.

A long over due update!

I told you my pants were getting tight a week ago.  I went to my meeting that day (Last Tuesday) and saw the damage of stress, no motivation, vacation and putting down a pet.  I gained +5.2 pounds in April!!  Wow!  Amazing how fast those pounds creep back.  No good!

So this past week I was careful - I tracked most days and knew the days I wasn't making good choices.  I walked back into my meeting last night and thankfully I was back on the "losing train"!!

Last week I lost -1.6 of those 5.2 pounds.
Not bad.  I am determined to back on track and stay on track.  Summer is here and I do not want to be that FAT mom again.  I want to be that healthy mom that can do things with her kiddos and not feel gross or tired.

So here I am - committing to you all again!  My readers and my support team!!

I would love to see how you have been doing for the past month too!
