Sledding for the First Time

It has been awfully snowy and cold around Colorado for the last couple of weeks.  While we love it I am so happy we started to thaw out over the last couple of days.  Last weekend we decided to take the kids out Sledding for the first time.

Jude has played in the snow before but never gone sledding, this was Teagan's first time playing in the snow so it was a big day for everyone!

We bundled up and headed to the park down the street.  We found the perfect hill and got to playing.  Jude was ready to have a snowball fight!!  It was FREEZING out but we still had a great time.

Thankfully we have a pair of snow pants for Teagan, that helped her have more fun and enjoy the cold snow.  Most of the time she was having to crawl through it because it was such deep snow.

Teagan and Jude going sledding for the first time!  ALL smiles until the sled tipped!  ha!  Surprisingly the both got up and wanted more!!  Thankful for some ruff and tumble kiddos!

This picture is priceless!  Great family time at the park for sledding.  Daddy and his kiddos.  My snow bunnies!!

Have you enjoyed all this cold and snow this winter?

  3. Love the picture of just the kiddos coming down the hill, so cute! Glad they had fun, sledding is Lexie's favorite thing right now and she thinks she should do it 24/7!

  4. Snow is my favorite! It makes me happy when I see other people, especial children, playing in it and enjoying themselves. Your kids are adorable and I LOVE their names. Thanks for commenting on my blog so I could come read yours. :)

  6. I can't wait until we get rid of this cough so we can go sledding. I hope there will still be snow around by then.
