Mornings can be rough for any age but something that we do as a family before our day starts at work, daycare or preschool is making sure our tummies are full and ready to start the day right!
To do this I am always looking for fast, healthy and yummy breakfast items for the kids and my husband and myself. When we first tried Kellogg's newest creation we were all hooked! The Nutri-Grain® Fruit & Oat Harvest Cereal Bars are amazing for more than one reason - they taste great and they are packed full of real fruit and whole grains. Perfect breakfast!
Jude is a Blueberry freak so he was most excited to try the Blueberry Fruit & Oat harvest bars. On school mornings we make sure that Jude has a filling and healthy breakfast so he can get through his work and lessons with out any meltdowns. To be honest, we were running out of quick breakfast ideas for Jude. While breakfast is absolutely my favorite meal of the day we obviously do not have time to have a full on breakfast feast. We have to be out of our house by 6:45am every morning. Oy! So early! I love the Country Strawberry Cereal Bar, I could really use them in the mornings but also when my 3pm slump hits at work in the afternoons! Great snack to keep in my desk at work. Yum!!
Our routine is to have Jude eating while we get ready and get Teagan ready for the day. This means we have to be careful with what we hand him. Having these yummy Nutri-Grain® Fruit & Oat Harvest Cereal Bars available as a choice for Jude is fantastic!
Nutri-Grain® Fruit & Oat Harvest Cereal Bars contain 4 grams of protein and real fruit and whole grains to help our bodies get in gear for the day. We simply add a side of fruit and some juice or milk and we have a well balanced meal that takes about 3 minutes to prepare. Jude and Teagan eat before school and daycare and Jeremy and I usually eat in the car on the way to work. Having these conveniently packed in our bags we can enjoy a Cereal Bar that is healthy but tastes sweet!
