Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
The world of Potty Training is difficult. It is stressful. It is a road that sometimes seems never ending. On this road with Jude we have always used Pull-Ups® and are doing the same with Teagan. Jude will be turning 4 in June (WHAT!) and I am excited to say that I think we officially have one Potty Trained child in our home. Thank you Pull-Ups®! I told you all that I would be working with Pull-Ups® as an Ambassador and I am so excited to share with you how we are doing so far. #CelebrateFirstFlush
I am here to tell you all that it can be done, even on the most head strong, always moving, busy boy. The end of the road is there! Currently, Jude wears his Pull-Ups® to school, if he has had any accidents in the last couple of months it has been at school. He goes 2 days a week for half days and sometimes I think he gets so into his lessons that he simply forgets the Potty. I am hopeful that we will be done buying those BLUE Pull-Ups® packages by his 4th birthday!
Okay, so now let’s focus on those pretty pink packages of Pull-Ups®. Yes, miss Teagan, that’s about you!
Teagan is so different than Jude. She is almost 18 months and is so interested in the potty. So we are allowing her to be interested and not pushing anything on her but really letting her have the chance to see what Potty Training really is.
With the help of her new Pull-Ups®, that have the cutest Disney characters on them, she is prepared to learn how to get ready to go potty. Something that I plan on doing different for Teagan than what we did with Jude is have her learn to pull down and pull up her pants. Jude had the 1st child syndrome, we did everything for him, so while he was using the potty he really wasn’t prepared for preschool because he needed help pulling his pants down to go. Teagan is so independent that she is already mastering this part…yikes pantless wonder! With Pull-Ups® Training pants having Teagan master that task is so easy. The training pants are so easy for her to pull up and down on her own.
Pull-Ups® know how much we as parents use our technology. You know, your computer, tablets, phones, ipods, ect. Yeah all of those. Well why wouldn't you want to use those items to help make potty training fun for everyone? Pull-Ups® has a great App called the Pull-Ups Big Kid App. This App is available for Android and Apple smart devices and is a must download for any family entering the Potty Training phase. The app offer videos and songs and a Big Kid checklist to help your little one in his or her nighttime routine. Teagan is a big dancer so when we showed her that you can dance with some of her favorite Disney characters she was having so much fun. I see this App working for her when she is a bit older but right now we are just seeing her face light up when she sees the characters and fun included in the App.
For parents, this app is great. It helps you track when your child went to the bathroom last. Great tool. Jude has enjoyed looking at the "be a big kid at night" feature too. Great tips for staying dry!
Well our second journey down the Potty Training Road has started. So far so good. I know that Teagan will get the hang of this a lot faster then Jude did but we are still remembering to go at her speed as well. Our biggest challenges with Teagan will be when we are out and about. Jude has gotten really good about telling us when he has to go but Teagan just isn't able to verbalize that just yet. The good news...we are well on our way to being DIAPER FREE!!
