I was excited to try this new cereal not only for the extra protein but because the flavor I got to try sounded amazing! Cinnamon Almond! Yum! This cereal has a great flavor and doesn't taste like a "health" food, I feel like I am getting a treat with my protein.
The kids really enjoy it too. We have eaten it in the mornings with milk but recently when I am packing our day bag for outings I decided to make my own Trail Mix using the Cheerios Protein that was perfect for all ages.
High Protein Cinnamon Almond Trail Mix:
-Cheerios Protein (Cinnamon Almond)
Simply mix all of the ingredients together in a large zip lock bag and serve! This is a hit with my kids and they ask for Trail Mix often. I feel good about feeding them this Trail Mix as a snack too!
