Three weeks in the books!  Boom!!  I completed my first goal this week too!  As of 8/10/2014 I stuck to my Medifast plans (yes I did have a couple of cheats) for 21 days.  Some believe that if you start something and you stick with it for 21 days you start a new habit.  Well I do believe I am starting a great new habit that involves Medifast but also involves thinking about the food that I eat and the amount that I decide to consume!

Like I said, in the last 3 weeks I have used Medifast to assist in my weight loss and on those occasions that I did go off plan I didn't go crazy!  My portions were under control and my choices were better but most of all I was happy with my choices and felt good!

Staying On Plan:

Last week I talked about our family trip to the mountains and man the temptations were there and then this last weekend was our 11 year anniversary and we had reservations at the Melting Pot and still planned on going.  Yes people, I am well aware of the dangerous territory that is Melting Pot but honestly I was ready to spend the evening out with my hubby of 11 years and have a glass of {or two} and celebrate at our traditional anniversary date restaurant.   So off to the Melting Pot we went.  We enjoyed our cheese and chocolate fondue and drinks.  We had a great time.  Now I am all about the honesty folks so here it is.  It was delicious and I have to tell ya, I could totally tell that I had been eating smaller portions for 3 weeks because man I was full about half way into the meal.  I suppose that is a good thing!  ha!

We enjoyed our meal on Saturday and I woke up on Sunday ready to be back on plan and get focused for the final week of month one.  Let's do this!  Work is still the easiest place for me to get my water intake and stay on plan.  Weekends and evenings are obviously my struggle but I am doing it.  I am still proud of the weight I have lost and my lofty goal of 20 pounds in one month will probably not happen but I am still going to try!!

I didn't really try any new foods this week.  Stuck to my smoothies {have to order more of those}, bars, Medifast Lattes and evening salads for my lean and green.

Back to school craziness begins tomorrow.  Back to School Night and lots of other possible plans that could be a challenge but so far this week and weekend looks like a great ON PLAN week for me!  Totally what I need!
