A Perfect Thanksgiving Twist on a Pecan Pie #Recipe

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Target.

If you are like me, you have been making your Thanksgiving dinner shopping list for a couple of weeks now.  Over-prepared?  Maybe, but there is literally no stress for me because I know I will not be running all over the place to get my items for the most delicious family meal of the season.  Oh come on, you know you want to know how to achieve this stress-free holiday meal prep!  One word:  Target!

This year, I am tackling a family favorite-pecan pie-and hoping that, after some practice, I will get family approval.  This is a big jump for me and my kitchen - Pecan Pie.  You see, my grandmother was THE pecan pie maker in our family and since her death no one has made a homemade pecan pie.  I wish I could fully describe the huge shoes I need to fill here; she was simply amazing, both in life and in the kitchen.

I headed to Target in pursuit of my pecan pie goal and picked up all the ingredients easily. Target truly is a one-stop shop!  Then, I got to work and while I have not yet had the official Thanksgiving approval, I am pretty happy with the results!  SO YUMMY!!

I have found myself being a little daring with traditional recipes so I added a little twist to this pecan pie recipe.  With the addition of maple sugar and maple syrup I know my recipe will be memorable.
