Add This To Your 2016 Fitness List

Disclosure:  This post is sponsored by Impressa by Poise but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

I am sure most of us have some sort of goal for the New Year to either loose weight or workout more. This year, just like last year, my goal is to be more active every day and this year I am going to feel even more confident going to my favorite Pilates class because I will not be worrying about those embarrassing leaks.

Impressa Bladder Supports, what is Impressa, Is Impressa for me, Light Bladder Leakage issues,

You would think that after becoming a mom of two that my only concern with leaks was the kids not making it to the bathroom in time but that is not true.  Thanks to these adorable kiddos I now find myself, like many other women my age, dealing with Stress Urinary Incontinence.  Look, I do not like talking about it because who really loves talking about peeing their pants but the honest truth is that it truly affects a number of woman's life's daily.  So here I am, confessing that yes, when you make me laugh, run, or dance I sometimes leak a little.  Ooops!!  But, there is hope for all of us with LBL!!

So while I am thinking about my fitness goals I am also thinking about packing my workout bag for Pilates every Tuesday.  An item that has now made a permanent spot in my bag is a bladder support from Impressa.  Once I found my size with the Impressa sizing kit I have been picking up "my number" and finding confidence when I know that these supports are preventing those embarrassing and frustrating leaks from even happening.

Health comes in so many forms and the mental health relief that I have felt since using Impressa while working out is truly like therapy!  Since I have been having these LBL's I have felt gross and old.  I can feel that 2016 is going to be great year and I am hoping it is a year that I can really focus on ME which includes my favorite workout - Pilates!  You have to try Pilates in 2016 - DO IT!

Impressa Information:

Impressa knows that woman are not a ONE SIZE FITS ALL body.  I urge you to run to Walmart and pick up the Impressa Sizing Kit.  Simply start with Size 1 and if you are comfortable and you have little to no leaks you are a 1!  Still having leaks?  Move to a size 2.  Not quite there - number 3 is for you.  These bladder supports are an internal product, this is not something that soaks up the leaks, in fact it prevents the leaks.  The Impressa product supports the urethra which prevents the leaks for up to 8 hours of wear and allows you to use the bathroom normally.

Make sure you check out my video all about my experience:

Do you see why this product is pretty legendary?  You can literally wear Impressa for any day, event or occasion.  If you are like me, you need this when you hit the gym, run after the kiddos and go out with the girls for ladies night. Let's break that stigma ladies - own those LBL's and prevent them with confidence this New Year!!

Have you experienced any leaks while laughing, coughing, sneezing, dancing or exercising?

  1. This sounds like a great addition to the workout bag for those who need the extra support. I have some friends who could use this!

  2. I've been pretty lucky with avoiding leakage issues, but I'm not naive enough to think that it's not a strong possibility in my future! lol I think it's funny how not only are we trying to get the kids to the bathroom in time, but ourselves too! lol
