Dream Dinners - Get Dinner On The Table

Disclosure:  I was provided with free meals in exchange for my honest review of Dream Dinners.  All opinions are my own.

How many of you find that getting a home cooked dinner on the table can be a difficult task?  ME!!  Sure, you see the recipes that I share here on the blog but the reality is that week night meals are really hard for me to achieve.  Recently, I was invited to try Dream Dinners.  When I first read about this place I was so excited and hungry.

About Dream Dinners:

Dream Dinners is an innovative concept in meal preparation that eliminates stress by taking away that nagging question of - what am I going to make for dinner tonight? It removes all menu planning, shopping, prep-work and clean-up by moving the meal assembly process out of people's kitchens and into specially equipped stores.
Dream Dinners' guests preview a changing monthly menu online and select their dinners from a menu featuring up to 17 items (depending on location) such as Steak Gorgonzola, Penne with Chicken and Peanut Sauce and Firehouse Three Cheese Pasta with Meatballs. The guest can elect to assemble 3-serving or 6-serving dinners, in any combination that works best for their families. (The minimum order per session is 36-servings.) Our guests then register to attend a meal assembly session at the nearest Dream Dinners store location, and pay for their session online.

When it's time for their session, guests bring boxes or coolers with them to the Dream Dinners store, where our friendly and knowledgeable staff greet them and explain the process. At the store, guests rotate through refrigerated recipe stations, scooping prepped ingredients into the provided baking pans or gallon-sized, zip-top bags, which they label with the appropriate cooking instructions.

After assembling their dinners, guests take the uncooked dinners home and freeze them. Each week, three meals are taken from the freezer and placed in the refrigerator to be enjoyed during the upcoming week.

Our guests find that Dream Dinners enables them to provide their families with nutritious, wholesome, home-cooked dinners with less stress and more time to enjoy their families.

This concept fits our needs perfectly.  I want to serve my family wholesome, home-cooked meals but there are weeks that simply going to the grocery store isn't in the plans which puts a huge strain on making dinner after long days at work or extracurricular activities.  Once I decided on a date to visit Dream Dinners, I simply got online and ordered the meals I thought my family would enjoy.  The process is so easy and honestly, it is hard to pick because all of the meals sound simply amazing!

I decided to ask my mom to join me for my first session.  This is a great concept for my mom and dad as well.  They are both retired and as some of you might relate it is hard to cook meals for only two people - plus, my parents are tired by dinnertime.  Why you ask? Because they do have a job - its watching and playing with Jude and Teagan - exhausting!!  ha!

So mom and I went and experienced it and boom we were hooked!  This gallon size bag is full of one delicious meal.  I simply put this in our deep freeze and I have everything prepared for a meal!  So easy!  I was worried about storage space but Dream Dinners totally gets that, and they make it easy to store these meals.

I was lucky enough to also get to host a Girl's Night Out Dream Taste for some of my friends to experience Dream Dinners.  The six of us put our aprons on and made our 4 meals in less than one hour!!  It was such a fun night with some of my good girl friends!

Girls Night is full of fun!!  Liz and Jennifer were preparing their Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Green Beans.  YUMMY!!

My good friend Kate decided she liked it so much that she is going to join me in May again!!  Cannot wait to try some new meals.

The best part about Girls Night Out at Dream Dinners is that the place is "closed down" just for you and your guests.  The staff was great at helping us stay on track and cleaning up after us.  Yes, you read that right - not only is everything prepared and measured for you but the staff also cleans up after you!!!!  AMAZING!!  No dishes!!!

Once you begin using Dream Dinners you should sign up for their Platepoints program to earn points for credits towards more meals.  It is a free program and I love seeing my points grow with every visit.

So far, my family and I have enjoyed 5 Dream Dinners meals.  They have all been super easy to prepare and delicious.  Our favorite is the Cattleman's Pie - if you are looking on the menu and you see that meal, SIGN UP!  This whole concept is the perfect way for our family to have meals ready for dinner without the hassle of grocery shopping and prepping the meals.   I am looking forward to my next meal and my next visit.
