This recipe was super easy to put together before we headed out for work and the kids loved the cheesy sauce.  I did not taste as much ranch flavor as I thought I would - next time I might add another half package of ranch dressing mix.

I love finding super easy slow cooker meals like this.

  1. I also tend to use my slow cooker only in winter, but that recipe does look good to enjoy all year round. I'm sure kids would love it considering it contains cheese and potatoes. It also looks really easy to make!

  4. Slow cookers is a must have in my house. I don't have a lot of time to cook after getting off of work running to this practice and that practice. Since you say this is kid approved I will have to try it with my house hold. They tend to be a little bit picky but ranch seems to go with anything so I will have to give a whirl.

  11. It is finally in the 80s in Chicago this week, so my slow cooker is taking a break. This Chessy-Ranch Chicken recipe looks delish. My husband thinks he hates ranch, but eats cool-ranch Doritos etc., so I think I will make it and just not say anything about the ranch part and see if he likes it. lol.

  13. I have to admit that I'm not fond of using my slow cooker. I can only use it for certain recipes...and besides that I like to season as I cook. Having said that, my kids love pasta and chicken so this would be a winner for them!
