This boy might be more excited about what is in his lunchbox every day than actual school! Do you know how much pressure that is for a first time lunchbox packing mom? I want him to open that lunchbox and instantly smile with comfort and happiness. I never ever thought I would aspire to be a bento box mom but there is a tiny part of me, VERY TINY, that really wants that. HA! But for now, as I learn the ropes of a lunchbox I need whatever help I can get.
Thankfully Tyson gets me. Like really gets me. Back to school season is full of exciting news but also totally draining for the whole family. Why is it so hard to get back into that routine? The whole family needs to be refueled and Tyson has your back with great products that can be prepared for lunchboxes but also quick dinners when needed.
On my most recent lunchbox grocery trip to Safeway, I picked up a few items that are always family favorites. Tyson chicken nuggets, Hillshire Farm lunch meat and Jimmy Dean fully cooked sausage. All of these items are pretty much staples for us for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. I love having Jimmy Dean fully cooked sausage on hand for great protein options in the mornings. In a matter of seconds the delicious breakfast sausage is ready. Perfect for those crazy mornings. When we pack lunches for Jude we have been using Hillshire Farm lunch meats because it tastes tender and juicy, is slow roasted for hours and the package is double-sealed for perfect freshness!
And Teagan's favorite food ever Tyson chicken nuggets. I am not kidding when I say we have a couple giant bags of these in our deep freeze. Tyson chicken nuggets are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and made with 100% all-natural* ingredients. They are pretty amazing even for adults. Yummy! Jude is also a big fan of chicken nuggets so I was trying to figure out a way for him to enjoy them after being in his ice packed lunchbox. I came up with a fun idea that was pretty yummy and he asked for it again already. BONUS!
