December is always a rough month for me when it comes to sugar and sweets. It is always hard for me to say NO! But now that we are into the New Year, like most of everyone else we are thinking about cutting out sugar and getting back on track with our food intake.

The hardest meal for me to really say no to the sugar is Breakfast. Pastries, lattes and breakfast breads are my crutch! To battle this I decided to start baking and preparing some yummy breads and muffins on the weekends to have on hand for my work day breakfasts but instead of using sugar I started using Truvia® Baking BlendTruvia®, America’s #1 Stevia Sweetener, is also a reduced calorie option - now that is a great way to get baking in the new year!

  1. I have a hard time cutting out sugar at breakfast too, and I sure would love a slice of this bread - with half the sugar! It sounds fantastic with the carrots, apples and yogurt in there and I love how you cut down on the quantity of brown sugar by adding in Truvia's Baking Blend! #client

  4. It has taken me quite some time to admit that while I don't eat a lot of sugar, I definitely have a sugar addiction. I'm hoping to try and tackle that this year. This Carrot Apple Bread looks amazing!
