Candy Corn Twinkies

Last week I share a spooky but not too spooky treat that my kids loved, Mummy Rice Krispie Treats and today I sharing another fun treat that kids will get a kick out of for this time of the year.  Like I said last week, we cannot have anything too spooky in our house this time of the year because both Jude and Teagan are very sensitive so I have been trying to find other ways to incorporate our favorite time of the year in our household.

While this recipe was a bit messy, I really love the way it turned out.  What a special sweet treat for Halloween!!  If you want to do these in a big batch it will take a while to paint the Twinkies 3 times but it will be worth it!  My kids loved these treats and I think we might make them for their classrooms!

  1. When we were kids, our parents did not prepare any Halloween treats so I'm surprised that there's a lot of creative decorations and designs nowadays. The rice krispie looks especially cute! Candy corn twinkies' colors are very attractive.
